Billing
When is payment due?
Payment is due at the time services are rendered. For therapy, this means that payment is due at each session. For assessment, we require $225 of the total fee at the time of scheduling. The remaining balance is due the day of your first appointment. Please note that in the event a client cancels an assessment after scheduling, the $225 is non-refundable.
Do you offer payment plans?
We can split the second payment into two equal payments for a total of three payments. The first payment is the $225 due at the time of scheduling and is non-refundable. The second payment would be due at the first appointment, and the third would be due a month later. If you require a payment plan, please indicate this to our office upon scheduling.
Do you accept scholarships or other types of funding?
We are happy to work with families to accept the Autism Scholarship, Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship, Post Adoption Special Service Subsidy (PASSS), and Family Support Services Program (FSSP) funding. These funding sources apply to therapy services, not assessments.
Do you accept insurance or Medicaid?
We do not accept insurance or Medicaid and all of our providers would be considered out-of-network with your insurance company. This means you are responsible for paying our office the fee(s) listed on our pricing page, not your insurance co-pay.
If you have out-of-network benefits and wish to submit your own claims, we can offer a statement for insurance reimbursement (also known as a superbill) to submit with your claim. Our office cannot guarantee reimbursement for services and strongly suggest that you contact your insurance company prior to scheduling services with us. Please note that we cannot provide a superbill until the assessment process is complete and all payments have been processed. For therapy services, superbills are issued on a monthly basis.
How do I find out if I have out-of-network benefits?
We recommend calling the number on the back of your insurance card and selecting the option for Coverage & Benefits. Below we have provided a few questions you may ask the agent, as well as the CPT codes we use for billing services. Please note that our office does not contact insurance companies or submit claims. You may submit out-of-network claims yourself, or use a third-party service such as Mentaya.

Assessments
What is your wait for assessments?
All clinicians are currently scheduling in early 2025.
What assessments do you offer?
We offer psychological assessment for ADHD, Autism, OCD, Bipolar Disorder, Anxiety, Depression, and related psychological conditions. We also offer neuropsychological assessment, which builds upon a psychological assessment to include testing of cognitive functions such as thinking, learning, memory, judgment, and language. This comprehensive assessment is appropriate when there are concerns about memory, processing, intellectual disabilities, learning disabilities, or when navigating more complex cases that require a deeper understanding of cognitive strengths and challenges.
If you are unsure what type of assessment you or your child needs, or you are interested in testing for something you don’t see listed, please contact our office at (513) 202-4298 or [email protected].
What can I expect from an assessment?
The first appointment is a diagnostic interview (60-90 min). During this session, you will have the opportunity to discuss your concerns, history, and any specific areas you would like addressed in the assessment. If the client is a minor, this appointment will be attended by the parent(s) or guardian(s).
The second appointment is a testing session (120-150 min). Neuropsychological assessments require two testing sessions. These sessions involve the administration of standardized assessment tools designed to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
The final appointment is a feedback session (60-90 min). During this session, the clinician will review and discuss the results of the assessment. If the client is a minor, this appointment will be attended by the parent(s) or guardian(s).
Within two weeks of the feedback session, you will receive a written diagnostic report. This comprehensive report will include recommendations for treatment and accommodations. This document can be a valuable resource for understanding the outcomes of the assessment and for communicating with other professionals involved in the client’s care.

What types of therapy do you offer?
We offer several therapy modalities, all of which are conducted with a neurodiversity and queer affirming, racially and culturally sensitive, trauma-informed perspective.
Individual Therapy: your therapist will work with you to help you better understand and embrace yourself and your needs. Common therapy topics may include unmasking, navigating sensory experiences, managing anxiety, improving mood, exploring supports and accommodations, and fostering joy. The focus is on empowering you to recognize your strengths and challenges, while working together to create strategies that support your well-being and help you thrive in a way that feels authentic to you.
Play Therapy: your child’s therapist will engage with them through play to help build emotional regulation skills and address trauma. Sessions may include activities such as using the sand tray, creative arts, and free play in either of our specially designed play therapy rooms. The child leads the play, while the therapist follows their lead, subtly incorporating therapeutic interventions throughout the process. This approach allows the child to express themselves in a safe and supportive environment, helping them process emotions and experiences in a way that feels natural and comfortable.
Couples Therapy: your therapist will help you and your partner identify both helpful and unhelpful patterns in communication, behavior, and emotional responses. By gaining awareness of these patterns, couples can better understand how their interactions shape the relationship. This understanding allows them to address underlying issues and work toward a healthier, more fulfilling dynamic where each person’s needs are acknowledged and met. The process is designed to strengthen the relationship by replacing negative habits with more constructive ways of engaging, ultimately fostering deeper connection, trust, and mutual support.
Family Therapy: your therapist will work with the entire family to help everyone better understand each other’s needs and perspectives. By exploring family dynamics and communication patterns, the therapist will guide the family in reducing conflict, improving communication, and fostering greater empathy. Through this process, each family member will learn how to express themselves more effectively, listen actively, and support one another in healthier ways. The goal is to create a more harmonious family environment where everyone feels heard, valued, and connected.
Group Therapy:
- Preschool Play Dates: This group is for neurodivergent preschoolers who need coaching to build peer relationships and play skills. It is facilitated by Kathryn Totzke, MA is $60 per session, and meets on Wednesdays from 1:30-2:30 PM.
- Elementary School Squad: This group is for students K-5 and focuses on peer relationships, self-worth, and self-advocacy. It is facilitated by Kayley Wagner, LSW is $60 per session, and meets on Tuesdays from 5:00 to 6:00 PM.
- Autistic Adult Group Therapy: This group is for autistic adults and focuses on unmasking, distress tolerance, and identity exploration. It is facilitated by Kathryn Totzke, M.A., is $40 per session, and meets on Fridays from 3:30 to 5:00 PM.
Parent Coaching: your therapist will work with you to better understand your child’s unique strengths, needs, and how they experience the world. Together, you’ll explore strategies that are tailored to meet those needs and support your child in developing new skills. Drawing from John Gottman’s Emotion Coaching and Ross Greene’s Collaborative Problem Solving, your therapists will help you create a compassionate, proactive approach to parenting that fosters emotional growth, strengthens your relationship with your child, and empowers them to thrive.
Infant Mental Health: therapy for children ages 0-3 can be highly beneficial when there are concerns about developmental delays, anxiety, or difficulties with emotional regulation. This approach is also valuable for parents experiencing depression or other mental health challenges, helping them better understand and respond to their child’s cues and needs. This type of therapy is conducted with caregiver-child dyads to strengthen the parent-child relationship and support healthy development.
